INT. LINCOLN BEDROOM, 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVE - NIGHT
PRESIDENT RONALD REAGAN IS RELAXING IN A RECLINER
NANCY
Ronnie, honey, did you see the package this morning? It's from Ron.
RONALD
I saw that but didn't know what it was or whose it was.
NANCY
It's got your name on it, you old fool.

The President mutters, rises, inspects the package

RONALD
I'll be damned. Plain as day.

The President unwraps it

RONALD (CONT'D)
Look at this, Mommie, it's one of those CDs.
NANCY
Oh how wonderful! So very Ron.

She inspects the jewel case

NANCY (CONT'D)
It's so hard to believe so much music fits into such a slight device. Oh, it's "Gordon MacRae: Live at the War Memorial" - you love Gordon MacRae!
RONALD
Well, I wouldnt' s‑‑
NANCY

Actually, I can't tell if this is music or‑‑ Oh, do you not like Gordon MacRae?

RONALD
Well. He was always a bit of a blow-hard at parties. But I appreciate Ron trying to push us into the future.
